The
Daniel Libeskind showcase
Libeskind’s first residential showcase in Asia has its platform
in Singapore in Keppel Bay. His iconic design for Reflections
at Keppel Bay will put Singapore on the world map for luxury waterfront
homes.
Rising
at the water’s edge and as ‘beacons of light’, the
Libeskind showcase will be the epitome of premier waterfront living
in Singapore.
Set
in lush and expansive grounds, the waterfront development features six
high-rise towers, some linked by skybridges, and spacious low-rise villas.
The Libeskind development will sit on a land size of approximately 84,000
sq metres with an extensive shoreline of 750 metres.
Every
detail and aspect of design will optimise interaction with the sea and
the commanding panoramic views of its scenic surrounds including Mount
Faber, Keppel Club Golf Course, Labrador Park, Sentosa and its upcoming
Integrated Resort and the city skyline.
Signature
waterfront living in Keppel Bay to attract world luxury home collectors
Home-grown multi-national corporation, Keppel Corporation, through property
arm, Keppel Land, continues to contribute to shaping Singapore’s
skyline and fabric of city living in Singapore’s next phase of
growth.
Keppel
Bay is set to put Singapore on the world’s prime real estate map
as a true waterfront precinct comprising an iconic residential development
designed by world renowned architect, Daniel Libeskind; the FIABCI-award
winning condominium, Caribbean at Keppel Bay; a world-class marina,
Marina@Keppel Bay; and the new landmark cable-stayed bridge linking
the mainland to the marina.
Located
just a five-minute drive away from the Central Business District, Keppel
Bay is part of the vibrant waterfront city in southern Singapore comprising
Sentosa and the upcoming Sentosa Integrated Resort, Harbourfront and
VivoCity, Singapore’s largest entertainment and recreation hub.
Keppel
Bay enjoys the rare confluence of location strengths – of being
near the city yet within one of Singapore’s best-loved nature
and recreation enclaves. Combining the best in waterfront and
urban lifestyles, Keppel Bay redefines premier waterfront living befitting
Singapore’s position as a vibrant global city.
Caribbean at Keppel Bay
The first residential development launched in this waterfront district
is Caribbean at Keppel Bay whose design features spectacular water channels,
bringing the sea right to the doorsteps of homes. The water channels
are previously docks of the historical Keppel Harbour, some of which
are over one hundred years old, and they have been purposefully incorporated
into the design and architecture of the development.
Its
distinctive design and quality won Caribbean at Keppel Bay the prestigious
FIABICI Prix d’ Excellence award at the International Real Estate
Federation’s Best of Real Estate Competition this year.
Caribbean
at Keppel Bay is also one of Singapore’s first connected homes
that feature state-of-the-art network infrastructure, home automation
system and a web-based condominium portal.
Comprising
969 units of luxurious 2-to-4 bedroom apartments and penthouses, Caribbean
at Keppel Bay is sold out, with 168 units kept as corporate residences.
Marina @ Keppel Bay
To be completed in the last quarter of 2007, Marina@Keppel Bay will
have world-class facilities which can accommodate almost 200 yachts
of various sizes, including five berths for mega yachts between 100
and 200 feet. The Marina will initially have 75 wet berths.
Some
of the exclusive marina lifestyle facilities members will enjoy include
a clubhouse with a member’s lounge, gourmet restaurants, spa and
charter services to access neighbouring islands. Marina @ Keppel Bay
is the strategically located gateway for cruising, fishing or island
hopping.
Homeowners
of Keppel Bay enjoy free 10-year term membership and five-year waiver
on subscription fees at the Marina. A 245-m cable-stayed bridge
will link the Marina on Keppel Island to the mainland.
The Cable-Stayed Bridge
A new landmark in Singapore’s southern waters, the 245-m long
cable-stayed bridge links Marina@Keppel Bay on Keppel Island to the
mainland.
The
dual carriageway bridge with pedestrian walkways will allow visitors
to enjoy picture postcard views of Sentosa, the Sentosa Integrated Resort,
Mount Faber and the scenic surrounds.
At
night, the bridge will be a glowing landmark for this waterfront precinct,
illuminated by dramatic mood lighting.
The
bridge, jointly designed by DCA Architects and T Y Lin International
Pte Ltd, is scheduled to be completed by first quarter of 2007.
